Jim Chapman Construction Group (JCCG), a seasoned build-to-rent (BTR) general contractor, announces its partnership with NexMetro, a BTR investor based in Phoenix. NexMetro’s inaugural Southeast project, South Pine, has started horizontal construction in Georgia in South Fulton County.

NexMetro, a decade-long player in the BTR industry with a significant footprint in Phoenix and Texas, chose JCCG as its Southeast partner due to the BTR general contractor’s expertise and robust track record.

South Pine is strategically located off I-85 in South Fulton at the Union City exit, offering proximity to Hartsfield Jackson International Airport and Newnan. Positioned at Oakley Industrial Blvd. and Oakley Rd, South Pine is a 34-acre development comprised of 193 two-story attached townhomes for rent.

“Being chosen by NexMetro, renowned for its substantial BTR projects in Phoenix and Texas, underscores JCCG’s proficiency and credibility in the BTR sector,” remarked Jim Chapman, President of JCCG. “We are thrilled to bring our comprehensive construction solutions to this project, ensuring South Pine is synonymous with quality living.”

Two-story townhomes with one-car garages feature five floor plans ranging from 1,000 to 1,483 square feet. Each unit is designed to present a luxe-living experience with premium features like LVT flooring on both levels, Quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and a washer/dryer.

South Pine is a gated and fully fenced community. Amenities include onsite management and leasing offices, a pool, sports court, tennis courts, 24-hour emergency maintenance, sidewalks and streetlights.

Land development started in late July 2023, and the first move-ins are expected in late 2024 and into the spring of 2025.

As the general contractor, JCCG will provide an end-to-end solution, including developing lots, constructing homes and building the amenities, thereby solidifying NexMetro’s entry into the Southeast.

With unparalleled experience, JCCG transforms raw land into thriving residential rental communities for investors and funds. JCCG is licensed as a general contractor in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina and offers a broad spectrum of services, from pre-construction assistance to design-build, construction management, or full-service general contracting.
