JACKSON JONES, CORPORATE LEGAL COUNCIL, VICE PRESIDENT OF LAND ACQUISITION
Jackson has been a licensed attorney since 1991, with a primary focus on real estate law. After starting his career as a residential closing attorney, he transitioned into his current role as General Counsel for Jim Chapman Construction Group. In this capacity, Jackson oversees the drafting of General Contractor (GC) agreements and other legal documentation, while also providing legal counsel and support to the company.
As VP of Land Acquisition, Jackson has played a key role in locating, analyzing, and securing properties for development. He has successfully managed the acquisition and closing of five cottage-style communities, totaling over 1,000 units, and is currently involved in the development of five additional sites across the Southeast.
A resident of Atlanta for over 50 years, Jackson is also a proud father of five grown children. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and a Law degree from the University of Georgia.
